Hdfc Bank - Money lost in bank transaction

On Mar **, i tried to pay an airlines via hdfc bank and in first try transaction page said “transaction failed” and airline staff confirmed they have not received the money. I tried to pay again and transaction was successful. Bank then deducted my money both times. I have written to the bank repeatedly with no help so far. I also escalated to RBI bank took no action.

Their first answer was they have rightfully deducted the money while airlines informed me they have received the money only once and later they said they will look into it with no response after.

This is harassment. I want my money back in time along with compensation which I am pretty sure is sitting in a suspense account which they are INCAPABLE of tracking it seems. I have written more than ** times called multiple hours only to wait on their answering machines. Also multiple emails and calls to airlines which they have confirmed money is received just once. I am sick of fighting these companies and this is a very stressful time In COVID and these companies are of no help. Its a shame.

My money is below minimum balance and if airline asks for more money to reschedule my ticket i do not have enough money in my account. Its been more than * months and nothing from the bank. I am so disappointed in the bank and want to close my account post i get my money and compensation back.
