Hi There,
I would like to let you know that I am working in a company, in the NCR area. However, due to COVID-** company has advised us to work from home, and from August **** I am in Jammu and Kashmir without proper communication due to my prepaid sim of NCR and I requested many times your authorities for help. But they were unable to help me. There was only one solution to generate the UPC for MNP. And, especially for UPC I went to Delhi in November and spent around RS ***** just for UPC. On November **th, *:** PM I generated the UPC (AD****** which was valid up to **-**-**** **:**), and on **th November *:** PM, I submitted the same UPC code at airtel shop and got the response from *** at the same time with the new sim card. Even after a few days, I got a call from airtel and they told me that this number will be activated within ** days, kindly go through the attached files for more details.
As per the TRAI guidelines, For individual subscribers’ mobile numbers - the porting request submitted by the subscriber to the Recipient Operator, with valid UPC within the validity period of UPC, will not be rejected.
Now, my question is how the UPC code was expired or invalid?. I have submitted the accurate details, even I cross-checked the details at the airtel store, Baramulla.
As per the airtel email, I have to visit the Airtel store with a fresh UPC code to complete the process. Do you think it's easy for me, it's really not. Because I am in Jammu and Kashmir and we all know that prepaid numbers of other states are not working in Jammu and Kashmir. To generate the new UPC code I have to visit Delhi again, and for that, I need to spend RS ***** again. It means RS ***** just for a UPC code.
Now, this is my kind request kindly help me get my issue resolved.
