For our recent trip to Bhutan, we have booked hotels through Makemytrip. Out first stay was at PARO and we have booked an AC room through MMT. When we reached the hotel we came to know from the reception that there is no AC/FAN available at the hotel while it was clearly mentioned in the website looking at which we have finalised the hotel. Apart from this hotel served us unhygienic (attached pics) and the service was so pathetic. We thought of cancelling the hotel but MMT mentioned full charges for cancellation. Even then we have inquired for a few hotels near to our hotel and they were full. We planned this trip with our old age parents and this was our experience. Then next our next stay was at THIMPU, guess what there was no AC again in the hotel while it was mentioned on the website. Luckily there was a small table fan.
Basically, whatever was mentioned in the website is not the actual case when we reached the hotels. Its a clear case of fraud/cheating customers. Tried to contact MMT after the trip and told them to refund the amount. Till now there is no update yet from their end even after following up.
I have also suggested them to change the details on the website for the two hotels as many others might be looking while we speak. As usual, they haven't updated the hotel details yet. Not able to attach more than one image. Included the room details of both in one photo.
