Nitin Aggarwal filed complaint against Make My Trip on Jun 18, 2020
I booked a cab from Delhi to Patiala for **th June, **** on *th June, ****. Due to the ongoing pandemic, it was mandatory to get an e-pass from the respective government to travel inter-state otherwise the booking will be cancelled.
In the cancellation and refund terms, it was clearly stated that ***% refunds will be issued if the booking is cancelled ** hours in advance of the travel time in case the pass is not issued or if I choose not to travel. It was nowhere stated that the refund will be received as MMT Cash and not in the original mode of payment.
The pass was not issued by the government in due time and hence, I cancelled the booking. Upon cancellation, there was a check box which asked if the refund should be credited to the MakeMyTrip Cash account and I proceeded without clicking on the checkbox.
Still, I received the refund as MMTCash and not in original mode of payment. It's not essentially a refund but a credit note that I can use for further travels.

I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
