I was abroad for * years and I returned to India for eye surgery. While applying for the personal loan, I found I was severely impacted in the cibil score because of SBI credit card. I called the customer care on *th March **** to inquire about my outstanding charges. Customer care agreed over the call that was their mistake as they did not close the credit card after my closure request. Due to which annual charges have been applied. As annual charge was not paid on time penalties were added. They confirmed over the call that they will dispute/ waive my Rs. **** and provide me NOC before **th March ****. They closed my ticket on March **, ****, stating it is an FD account. I am not able to understand how the credit card is an FD account. The answer seemed to be silly. Although I wasted my ** days of time being behind this, I never got a solution. Now, I am feeling mentally disturbed. All the miscommunications are creating my torture. Please help me.
