I am writing to file a formal complaint against MediBuddy regarding the unfair cancellation of my MediBuddy Gold membership (Patient ID: *******).I subscribed to the MediBuddy Gold membership plan (Patient ID: *******).
in **** for * years till ****, I received an email from MediBuddy informing me that my membership had been deactivated due to exceeding the consultation limit for family members according to their Fair Usage Policy.
I expressed my dissatisfaction with this decision as I did not receive any prior communication regarding potential policy violations.
I believe the Company's actions are unfair and in violation of consumer rights for the following reasons:
Lack of Transparency: The Company did not inform me beforehand about approaching the consultation limit or potential consequences. A notification or warning would have allowed me to adjust my usage accordingly.
Sudden Deactivation: Cancelling my membership without prior notice disrupts my access to healthcare services, especially considering their email mentioned the case being escalated for resolution.
Refusal to Re-activate: Despite attempts to resolve the issue amicably, the Company has refused to reinstate my membership.
I request the following from this esteemed court:
Reinstatement of Membership: A directive to the Company to reinstate my MediBuddy Gold membership (Patient ID: *******) with immediate effect.
Compensation: Compensation for any inconvenience and disruption of services caused by the abrupt cancellation of my membership.
Clear Communication Policy: An order directing the Company to implement a clear and transparent communication policy regarding Fair Usage Policy limitations and potential consequences.
