Harish Kandoi filed complaint against Flipkart on Jul 12, 2019
I had ordered on Flipkart (Order No. OD******************) the Marq ** inch LED TV on **th June **** and received the same on **th June ****. The same was installed by Jeeves executive on **th June ****.
On *th July **** at around *.** pm the LED Tv suddenly felled down from the wall mount and the LED screen got cracked. The Impact was so loud and it felled just * foot before my one and half-year-old son, that we were caught in a dilemma. My son was so afraid that we were busy consoling him. We were thankful to the god for averting any serious incident which would have occurred if the TV had fallen on my son. Immediately at around *.** pm, I contacted and informed the Flipkart customer care about the incident but to my surprise, they reluctantly refused to accept their fault and informed me that the fault is at my end and as the ** day return period is completed they are helpless.
Now, I want to highlight some points in this regards :
*) That we have not supplied you the sub-standard wall mount or
*) Neither we have our-self installed the LED TV.
*) If the accessories were not of sub-standard quality than executive may not have installed it properly.
As the TV was installed by the executive and if he had used sub-standard accessories or may not have installed it properly and if such an incident occurs, how are we responsible for the incident. If any untoward incident would have occurred due to the above lapses from your side, would you have compensated me for that loss?
I am still in very shock states of mind due to the above-said instance and your customer care claiming that the fault is from our side has made me even more restless. I urge both Marq and Flipkart to take immediate action and solve the problem as there is no role of mine in this incident.
I request you to either replace/ repair it at your cost. You may say that you will replace only if there is any manufacturing defect in TV, but though the TV may not have any manufacturing defect, but the Accessories supplied with the TV has manufacturing defect or the executive who had installed the TV had not properly installed it, so the defect is completely from your side. Hence, I am eligible for the replacement.
