Manju Groups - Manju groups token amount refund issue

I paid a booking advance of ₹**,*** to Manju Promoters Private Limited (Manju Groups), Chennai, on November **** for a plot booking.

Due to personal reasons I cancelled the booking on the same day, and no agreement or registration was executed. I was assured that the refund would be processed within * working days.

Despite repeated follow-ups for over **+ days, the refund was not processed. Eventually, a cheque dated March **** was issued, forcing me to wait nearly * months to receive my own money.

Further, the cheque amount is only ₹**,***, with an unjustified ₹*,*** deduction mentioned as “car hire charges”, which was never informed or agreed in writing.

There has been no proper written communication, transparency, or empathy from the company despite escalation.

A grievance has already been registered with the National Consumer Helpline (India) due to these issues.

I am seeking immediate refund of the full ₹**,*** without deductions and closure of this matter.
