Neha Behl filed complaint against Airindia on Feb 20, 2019
Through online booking, I got confirmed ticket of Air India Flight AI -*** that was scheduled on **th Feb **** at *.** pm terminal-* from Delhi IGI to Bangalore. Considering the international flight timing, I was already reached the airport and the Air India counter even before the time (* hour). But senior staff denied me giving boarding pass by saying that I was late, although it was not like that. They did not make a single announcement even. Then I observed it was not me only but there were more than ** people facing a similar issue. All of us were standing in the queue and they said that *.** Bangalore has been closed, the flight is fully packed with all the seats, everyone left within one question. When they already have confirmed tickets then how come Airline sold their tickets to other people at the higher rate (***** rupees), they first sold the tickets and then told us to coordinate with their Customer Service at Gate *. Their staff also misbehaved with me and with other people. The girl on customer service desk shouted on me like I don't exist even she insulted me. Even when I said that why would I pay again ***** rupees for the next flight when I am not faulty.
When no one from Airlines Staff was listening then I called up Police there. They helped us (* people) to get the next day flight scheduled at *.** am ** Feb as the staff has already sold the tickets in a higher rate for the flight scheduled at *.**pm same day **th Feb. When I got the boarding pass of *.**am flight, I went back to my home at Faridabad, and reached home at **.**pm in the night ** Feb and again started around * am in the early morning to board the flight scheduled at *.**am ** Feb through Cab. Cab charged me double fare than regular.
When reached Bangalore through the *.**am flight, I could not join the office even on ** Feb and had to cancel all my important meetings because of Physical exertion as I could not sleep for one hour even because of all this happened from **th afternoon till **th Feb morning.
Please help me. I got first mentally tortured by Air India Staff and then I suffered the financial loss of travelling through cab from Faridabad to IGI. Request you to help me with the compensation of financial loss, an apology from staff who harassed me mentally.
