Lens Kart - Made my day worse

I actually got a call from LensKart today and I was told by customer care that you have free service on your doorstep. So I have given my contact details. Within minutes I got a call from another service representative and he told me to share your location and I shared it. Meeting time is from *pm to *pm. So I asked my dad to stay at home to have his eyesight checked. At *:** pm, this service representative called me and told me this service is not available at your location. My dad trusted me and now I don't know how to convince him. In the future, he won't care about my words right? I feel very ashamed. I do nothing for them. They just called me and made my day worse.
