I am facing some issues in my car filter in which some carbon compounds are accumulated in the DPF of car. As the deposits get accumulated it makes engine power low and also gives warning on my car's instrument cluster. To clean the filter , the company claims that one has to go for a highway drive of around **-**kms with an average speed of **km/hr . The worst part is that there is no particular duration or km range in which the carbon compounds accumulate and in my car i am facing this issue very frequently. I report to Ford India customer support when i face the issue and all they do is they say *Sir take your car for a highway drive* to solve this issue.
I am very angry with the same as i have to take car to highway drive often which wastes my fuel and precious time too. I mean why would i drive my car without anh purpose? But unfortunately i am doing this everytime i face the same issue.
Now , this thing is at it's high level and needs to be resolved. If the dealer or company would have keep this DPF issue transparent with me i would have bought a petrol engine. But they kept it hidden.
Ford says that if you drive car in city you will face this issue frequently. I don't know what to say , does one need to take another sort of car rather than Ecosport if he has more city drive than highway drive.
Everytime this issue comes , i complaint , get the complaint number , customer executive calls and says you take your car for a highway drive. Many a times i took my car to service center too and they also say the same solution. What if I don't want to waste my fuel and get this filter cleaned? There is no alternative and permanent solution provided by ford to me for this issue. On **th November **** number my car was recalled and a part was changed and service executive told that this part is changed due to DPF issue and you will not face the same. Waitt , it's again like a action film i again got a warning on my car's cluster on **th **** *Exhaust Filter Overloaded Drive to clean*
I need a solution for this or i need my compensation or change my car from diesel to petrol.
I need solution , permanent solution anyhow.
