Hdfc Ergo General Insurance Company Ltd - Insurance settlements issue

I have taken one insurance policy from them Home suruksha. In this there is a provision that if i loose a job then the co will pay my * months of EMI.. Now unfortunatley i lost my job and i am following up with them for this setllements. Last * months they just keep asking me to get a copy from empoyer which says the reason for my job loss. Sir which co will give this in writing that they have removed a employee because of company being in bad shape. I even contacted my employer and they refused blindly. They never told me about this hidden clause while selling the policy. The policy will last for ** yrs and i can not even close down this as they have sanction a loan amount of *.* L against this policy and they keep deductin **** rs per month as EMI for this policy to.. I feel cheated as i am paying emi for this useless policy and not getting anything in return when needed most,
