I recently bought a Hyundai Creta from Kun Hyundai Anna Nagar dealer in Chennai. TN ** AB ****. At the time of booking, I was given a commitment and discount on the vehicle that I purchased. I was offered a cash discount of **,*** from the dealer as I was purchasing a **** facelift create on Jan *st ****. I opted for a bumper to bumper insurance which was clearly committed and agreed at the time of booking and the executive who delivered the vehicle in KUN showroom also confirmed the same at the time of delivery. The sales team made a very bad cheap trick on their discount, they gave me a discount and removed B*B insurance for my car and gave a general one which I came to know on **th March ****. When I consulted the executive, he made a single statement that “he did not commit” this is ***% lie.
I remember he claiming the insurance is B*B insurance for * years and it’s a *rd party even my family was there at that time I remember my dad constantly asking the questions on Insurance to the executive to which he committed and agreed. The booking commitment included B*B insurance *rd party for *years. – [not B*B but General insurance for * years].

We already have a car to which all of them had B*B insurance, which why I opted for general insurance? I have already raised a complaint to Kun regarding the assigned executive from sales team as I am facing a lot of Issues and complaints with him but however still issues are getting worse day by day due to the same person. Last time when I gave the executive * rating the Kun customer care team made lot of phone calls and visited my office to sort things out even though things were not sorted they claimed that executive salary will be impacted so requested to rate him at least * but trusted on Hyundai and rated him ** [this process went for * month] on the same day. And I did not hear from them to follow-up on my issue.
Last week I had a minor accident where my bumper was broken, to replace and claim insurance I visited the body shop of Kun service and found that my insurance is general and not B*B. Felt like I have been cheated and my trust was broken that I had on Hyundai.
I asked for b*b and executive agreed and confirmed he gave me b*b I just went by his words the other day by blindly trusting the brand when called he saying I never committed for B*B this couldn’t be worst.
I don’t know how to escalate this situation this insurance is not for * year its * years, so I don’t see an option other than getting things done judicially by raising a consumer complaint. Now I have a new car * months old with a broken bumper a dissatisfied customer who got cheated by sales executive a reward for the trust I had on the brand.
Initially, I wanted to exchange my old car but the executive said showroom will quote less so I bring my dealer and you pay cash as down payment. Looks like he also worked here for his commission. After giving to the dealer I noticed that my car was worth more than what was quoted by the dealer, a loss of **-** thousand is non-bearable.
