We had filed insurance claim of for the damage to my car's windshield under Policy. The claim is being rejected by the insurance company/underwriter due to name discrepancy in the policy issued. The policy has been issued in the company owners name instead of the company name. The car is registered in the company's name. The cars RC book was also uploaded for issuing the policy. The insurance company is now rejecting the claim saying us to correct the name in the policy. When we applied for correction, they are saying we will have to close/withdraw the claim and only then correction of the discrepancy will be possible.
