Indigo - Indigo flight cancellation at the last moment resulting into huge loss

I booked a ticket to chennai from Hyderabad on *rd July (travel date) , early morning flight, and flight got cancelled and I was intimated *-* hrs before. My flight got cancelled at a very short notice, beacause of which I missed a very important meeting resulting into huge business loss. Plus hotel booking , which is non refundable , is also loss for me. Along with that I have return flight booked also. * more people travelled from other city for meeting with me. And there was no flight before afternoon. Company is not responding. I have written letters and called multiple times. They are saying we can pay only **** and not responsible for anybother financial and mental issues. It's a case of negligence , harassment by indigo. I need compensation of * lacs.
