IBIS - HOTEL STAFF BROKE INTO MY ROOM WHILE I WAS INSIDE

It was **AM on my last day of the stay, I was staying at IBIS Navi Mumbai, wherein suddenly one hotel staff just unlocked my gate and entered my room. I was settling my things, I asked him why he just came in. First he said you have checkout at **:** AM,to which I corrected him that it was ** PM. And then to give another excuse, he simply and very foolishly said he came to ask for laundry. Why on earth would someone give laundry while checking out?? I asked him, as to how dare he entered my room without even knocking at the door and without even ringing the bell?? I told him I would complaint, to which he very sufficiently said you can, no problem. Fortunately, I was a single man staying in. What if there were two ladies staying in?? What if either of them just came out of the shower, and then this guy just broke into your room just out of nowhere. What if you were staying in as a married couple, and suddenly you see this hotel guy breaking into your room?? These are very clear signs that anyone and everyone from this hotel can enter your room as per their will. It cannot be expressed how vulnerable and exploited it felt. I would recommend all people staying in this hotel, to kindly check their safety first before staying here. Anything can happen to anyone, at any point of time. Even after I complained at the hotel, they took it extremely casually, as if nothing happened.
