This is shocking that HomeLane denying retrun of advance payment of Rs *****.** This is simply unethical, unfair and unprofessional. Here are series of events:
*) On ** March **** when I visited HomeLane store in Sector **, Gurugram, HomeLane team shared a quotation with a good discount upto **% of total value and some other discounts of Rs ***** on appliances etc.
*) HomeLane collected a token/ advance money of Rs ***** by me on ** March **** via Receipt Number Z-/****** and Payment Reference Number ******.
*) The HomeLane team did not inform me that this amount is non refundable. They also did not inform me that they will not accept order below Rs ******.
*) On ** Sep ****, when I asked HomeLane team to deliver one wardrobe worth Rs with the cost of Rs *****.** (After **% discount is applied the price comes to Rs *****.**), HomeLane dropped all discounts to Zero and denied the product citing that they will not accept order below Rs ******.**
*) On ** Sep ****, HomeLane denied the refund of the original advance payment of Rs *****.** paid by me to HomeLane on ** March **** by Credit Card.
Since the quotations are treated as the price estimation of products or services thus asking for quotation does not mean placing an order. Since in this case the order is not being accepted by Homelane, this is denial of service and product hence HomeLane is bound to return the collected payment of Rs *****.** back to me.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
