Hitachi 1 5 Ton AC - Hitachi AC Remote replacement overcharging

AC remote stopped working. I have raised a request for a new remote(***********). I was happy to pay for the remote. But i was told that i would be charged extra inr *** as service charge for giving me the new remote. I felt it was unfair and over charging, as there is no manual labour involved in this. I even asked if i could buy that remote anywhere myself. I was told that i would get a call back from customer care. But it's been * weeks, noone called or resolved this ask. Only way to buy the remote is by paying extra *** i think.
