@HathwayCable I’m deeply concerned about a major privacy issue. My Hathway account was deactivated in February ****, with all dues cleared, yet I’m now getting repeated calls from people claiming to be from your billing department, demanding payment on this closed account. These callers have full knowledge of my account details and are even sending PhonePe links for payment—a suspicious and alarming practice.
This points to a serious data security lapse at Hathway. My deactivated account details should have been safely removed, but clearly, they’re still accessible to unauthorized people. This breach not only violates my privacy but also damages customer trust. What’s going on with your data protection measures?
I expect immediate action to investigate and resolve this. Clear the data for deactivated accounts, ensure security for current customers, and stop this unauthorized access.
