I wanted to share a concerning experience I had while traveling on a Zing bus from Jaipur to Delhi yesterday. I boarded the bus at *:** PM with the expectation of a non-stop journey, as confirmed by the Zing bus app. However, the journey was far from seamless.
The driver made frequent stops, taking breaks of **-** minutes and picking up passengers along the way for short distances, seemingly for additional earnings. This was a significant deviation from the non-stop service I had booked and impacted my plans to celebrate Diwali with my family on time.
When I questioned the constant stops, the driver and helpers engaged in heated arguments and even resorted to verbal abuse. The situation escalated when, after my complaint, the driver began driving recklessly, reaching speeds exceeding *** km/h. This posed a serious safety concern, and I felt compelled to voice my discomfort.
Ultimately, the bus arrived at Dhaula Kuan at *:** PM, well beyond the promised time. To add to the ordeal, my bag was damaged during the process of storing it in the back locker. The torn bag, purchased just last week, is a clear result of the non-serious approach of the bus staff.
I am extremely disappointed with this experience and request a prompt investigation into the matter. I insist on a callback to discuss this issue and seek a refund for the damage caused to my bag. I believe such incidents tarnish the reputation of the company, and I trust that corrective actions will be taken to prevent the recurrence of such situations.
