Tata Sky - Harassment by Tata Sky

We got TATA Sky re-installed at our new house on Aug **rd ****. TATA Sky technician, who came to visit our house told us about TATA Sky binge and that it is free for one month. He told that after one-month charges will be *** per month. He also told us that in case we want to get it disconnected after the free month, we can contact TATA Sky customer care. We agreed to use the service and device. Then, he installed the device. Now, the catch was that he put the device’s USB charger cable directly in our TV’s USB drive and didn’t tell us that there is also an adapter that come with the device. We didn’t question him because we were not aware that device comes with an adapter charger as the device was working fine without it.
After a month when we disconnected the services, a TATA Sky representative came to pick the device. He told us about the missing adapter and that we have to pay **** Rs as a charge for the missing adapter. This was horror for us as we were not aware about any adapter that comes with the device. Post this the technician who installed the device called me to say that he is telling the company that he gave us the adapter. Post this Tata Sky customer care person called me and told me that they will be sending the same technician at my home to talk to us about the matter. They are now kind of threating us to pay **** Rs. In case this continues, I have no other option but to raise a police complaint regarding this against Tata Sky.
