Google Pay - Google pay hasn t refunded failed gold transaction amount done on March

I tried purchasing gold from Google pay for an amount of *****. But the transaction went into pending stage even though I got sms confirming money was debited from my account. After a while the transaction status went from pending to failed and was mentioned that the amount will be back in *-* working days. I contacted Google pay after the * and *rd day waiting al last **min to get connected only to be told the money is safe and it will be back soon. After the *th day I called and they escalated the issue and collected my bank statement to confirm that the money was indeed debited and was asked to wait another * working days to get the issue resolved. That deadline was over on **rd and the money still isn't back nor have I heard from anyone from the Google team. I tried calling them again on **rd only to wait ** minutes kittulle multiple times only to get the called disconnected due to their 'technical issue s'. After connecting they are claiming they re-escalated the issue and I'll have to wait another * days. The amount of mental stress I'm going through is unbearable.
