Brinda Maheshwari filed complaint against Vodafone on Jun 21, 2019
This is a strong complaint I want to lodge against WRONGFUL BILLING (**********) being carried on by Vodafone.
During a recent trip by me (**********) to SHILLONG WHICH IS IN INDIA, I visted a place in INDIA by the name of DAWKI.
My phone was automatically made to latch on to the network in Bangladesh despite me not activating any international roaming plan before I departed for the trip.
Now Vodafone is charging me Rs.**** for this as INTERNATIONAL ROAMING SERVICE.
Please note that I have not opted for international roaming on this trip nor have I tried to connect my phone to another countries network.
VODAFONE FRAUDUENTLY MADE MY PHONE CONNECT TO ANOTHER COUNTRIES NETWORK SO THAT THEY COULD CHARGE US THE INTERNATIONAL ROAMING FEES.
I was very much in India which can easily be proven by my passport.
The customer care team has been of ZERO HELP. No one has the authority to take a decision on this matter.
They gave me an email ID and I give getting an auto-response from them.. NO CALL
No senior calls back. I have even written to the appellatte (Mrs. Sharma) but there is no response.
I think they don't have a guide on how to tackle these situations and the seniors refuse to come on the line.
