Avrajit Roy filed complaint against Airtel on May 1, 2021
First of all , I want to ask that is Airtel a service provider or a Harrasment agency. I have been suffering from last * months regarding my Airtel dongle. Let me start the story from the scratch.
My wife's sister has brought two airtel *g dongles from Nagpur store. Below are the numbers.

The moment we bought the dongles, we regretted the decision as the internet speed and services where pathetic. We tried to close the dongles immediately as it did not suit the purpose.
But here comes the first shock. We are not allowed to close it before * months of usage. We used the services unwillingly as we had no other options that time.
Now * months passed and I reached Airtel AUNDH pune store for the closure. We have already dropped a mail for closure to
***@in.airtel.com but got absurd reply from that mail.
I went to airtel AUNDH pune store for the closure and the store manager #Sara tried to create a request by calling hotline number. Here comes another shock.
I cannot close both the dongles as there is some kind of dependency between parent and child number. First of all being a client I do not want to fall prey to these technical terms. I want closure and rest has to be handled by Airtel Team.
They asked me to pay remaining amount before the closure and I cleared that immediately on *th Feb for the closure request. There were * visits to the same store but everytime same excuses like technical issue not able to close and all.
Now here comes the HARASSMENT part. After all this I have assumed that the numbers are closed and I will be required to pay till the date of closure as per prorata. But the shocker came as Airtel recovery agents called my wife's sister that your payment is pending and lf you don't pay will do this will do that and all threats.
I again went to the Airtel AUNDH Store and last shock I got that the primary number is still not closed and you are being charged monthly even though I am not using it for * months.
When I asked #Sara that why it's not closed I got the answer is the number closure takes * MONTHS and till that time I will be charged. When I asked her show me the policy where this * months charges are applicable, that time she refused and took a U turn saying I cannot show you that policy and all.
So till the time today, my wife's sister is getting this Harrasment calls and I am not going to pay for these * months as I am in no fault and it's AIRTEL'S fault for not taking closure request properly.
While opening any new account for dongle and all, you guys just need a call and some doc proof that too over what's app or email but while closure why this much Harrasment is happening. Think about this #AirtelIndia #Airtel #Airtel*G
