Doves Vacations - Fraud in the name of Vacation

Dear Sir/ Madam,

My name is Karunakara N k, Im from Karnataka. I would like to give a complaint about a fraud that happened with me of RS ***** on the name of membership programme.

I was invited for a seminar which was held in Hassan(******) by a company named “Doves vacation” having its registered office at Millers Rd, Kaverappa Layout, Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka ******. ‘Doves Vacation’ refers to the Vacation Membership. The company is a travel and tourism based company which claimed to have tie-ups with different hotels and resorts. The seminar was with regards to the company’s products and services which the company offers to its customers. Upon attending the seminar, which looked promising, the company sold its membership programs to its customers. I felt victim to this and purchased a membership programme on **/**/****, which was the lowest in its category just to try out the company’s product. I was sold Silver membership programme by the sales personnel whose name was Kafil Mohammad. Upon purchasing the programme, which cost me Rs ***** by giving false promises to maldives etc as complematary and also i was promised ** nights of hotel stays in any city which the company had tie-ups with.

To try out the company’s product, i planned a vacation with my family in the month of October ****, and contacted the company ‘Doves Vacation’ to avail the offer in hotel Stay. The company promised to do the booking on the selected dates of my vacation. Since the company gave assurity to get the booking done for the hotel stay, i booked my flights and transport accordingly. I kept calling the company’s booking hotline number to confirm my booking status to which the customer service personnel stated not to worry as the booking will be processed and the details will be communicated to me.

* day prior to my vacation days, just to get the booking conformation, i contacted the company’s bookings phone number. The Customer service personnel stated that they were not able to get the booking done. The company never informed me before hand regarding the bookings could not be done by them. I felt cheated and betrayed since my vacation was * day away and i did not have any hotel bookings for our stay, which was a big embarrassment to me. I called the company’s sales personal who sold me the membership to help with the booking, however he did not answer my phone calls. No one from the company bothered to answer or call me back regarding the hotel booking not being done. Unfortunately i had to do a separate hotel booking by my self paying double the cost of the hotels since it was end minute bookings done by me.


I felt cheated by the company who has taken my hard earned Rs *****, but did not provide me the service which they offered. Also upon calling, i requested them to cancel my membership programme and refund my money, which also they declined and now they are not answering my calls nor replying to my emails. Im feeling helpless and cheated as i have invested my money in a fraud company who fails to provide the promised services and also does not want to cancel the membership so that they will have to refund my Money back to me. It feels like my money has gone to waste.

I do not want to keep any kind of membership with this company, and demand a full refund of the amount paid.

Please help us all to get our money back by by lodging complaint against this company and save people against the fraud which they are doing in the name of Vacation. Please help please help there are so many people lost money like us. Please help
