Mercedes Benz India - Fraud by Mercedes Authorized Service Centre

*. I wanted to buy a pre-owned (used) Mercedes C*** car from a car dealer. So, I went to Auto Hangar to run diagnostics on the car before bying it. I paid for running the diagnostics.

*. Auto Hangar is a Mercedes Service center. They ran diagnostics and told me everything is great, this is a great deal and go buy the car.

*. Within * months, my C*** broke down in the middle of the road. I have not driven car for more than **** km.

*. Now, the authorized Mercedes service center asked us to repair/change entire coolant system and the entire oil system. This costed me more than *,**,***.

*. They are further saying I need to change ECM. Saying someone has repaired this ECM before. The service center now is showing that early reports show that this vehicle needed coolant system repair.

*. As you can see, it is obvious and I am ***% confident that Auto Hangar people have hidden all this information from me.

*. Since I got a go ahead from Auto Hangar I bought the car.. now I have to spend more than *.** lakh to repair car.

*. Also, car has been out since * months, I am using Taxi. So I have already wasted money, time, resources.

*. When complained to Mercedes, they did not accept their fault. Over the phone, they said it's not their fault. So, I asked them to clearly document their response in an email.

**. They have not sent me any email in response to my complaint. However, they are trying to offer **-**% discount on the ECM replacement charges.

As you can see, the Auto Hangar committed a fraud. Which resulted in me buying a car that was not in a good condition, now I am suffering a loss of almost * lakh rupees.
