Trilochan Singh filed complaint against Hotel booking Fraud on Oct 14, 2019
A hotel room was booked for * nights stay in Phuket, through Goibibo, and total money paid.
On the day of checking out, the hotel refused to let a check out happen, without making a payment. The hotel people said that they had mailed Goibibo and all its ** executives for the payment on **.** & **.** but they have not responded.
I had already missed the already fixed Van, which was to drop me and others to the Airport and now missing the flight would had been a bigger problem.
I requested hotel people for a mail on that and they did send after which the payment had to be made again, from my credit card. The hotel acknowledged the payment and sent a mail marking a copy to all concerned, of receipt of the payment.
I tried to avoid making double payment, for almost * hours before giving up. Additionally, had to pay Rs **** + equivalent as taxi charges for the airport drop..
Later on Goibibo sent me a mail and offered Rs **** as damages, which i refused.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
