Cityfurnish - Formal Complaint Repair Request and Billing Discrepancies

hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally register a complaint regarding the unsatisfactory service I have received from CityFurnish in connection with a repair request and billing discrepancies. On April **th, ****, I raised a repair request for a product, specifically a Microwave, which I have rented from CityFurnish. The reference number for my complaint is "******." Despite repeated attempts to contact your customer service, I have not received any email or message confirming the assignment of a technician to address my complaint. This lack of communication has persisted for three months, during which I have not received proper support from CityFurnish.

Due to the absence of assistance, I decided to withhold my monthly rental payments until my device was fixed. On August **nd, ****, I reopened the request with reference number "******" and conveyed to your team that I would only clear the outstanding amount once my device was repaired. On August **th, ****, I received a message from Mr. Parvinder, contactable at +** *XXXXXX*, indicating his visit to my residence for repair. I provided him with the necessary directions and timings for the repair visit.

However, upon Mr. Parvinder's arrival, he stated that he was there primarily to collect the pending payment and not to address the repair issue. I expressed my willingness to make the payment immediately, but I requested that the charges related to the damaged product (Microwave) be deducted from my bill before payment. Mr. Parvinder subsequently connected me with Mr. Ankit, a senior representative, who assured me that the device would be repaired once the payment was made, and a revised bill with the appropriate deductions would be sent.

Regrettably, I did not receive an email with the revised bill as promised, and after several days of waiting, I contacted Mr. Ankit. He informed me that he was unable to reduce the amount as discussed earlier but would remove the late fee for the damaged product. I agreed to this arrangement and requested an updated bill for payment. However, I never received the revised bill via email. Instead, Mr. Parvinder visited my residence, where he harassed my wife and attempted to collect the total bill, including late fees and rent for the damaged product. I was not present at home at that time and requested the opportunity to resolve the matter with your team.

I am profoundly frustrated with CityFurnish's lack of support and inconsistent communication throughout this ordeal. It is disheartening that your representatives have been swift to demand payment but have shown a marked reluctance to address the repair issue promptly.

In light of the above, I request the following actions to be taken:

A formal apology from CityFurnish for the inconvenience and harassment caused during this ordeal.
Removal of all late fees and rental charges associated with the damaged product (Microwave) from my bill.
Prompt resolution of the repair issue for the Microwave.
Written confirmation of the above actions and a revised bill for the outstanding amount.
Please be advised that if these issues are not resolved to my satisfaction, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action by filing a complaint with the consumer court.

I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves and promptly rectify the situation. I look forward to a swift resolution and a return to the standard of service I expected from CityFurnish.
