Flipkart - Flipkart refused return for defective Elara Smart Lock

I purchased an Elara Smart Door Lock from Flipkart (Order ID: ******************). After installation, I found that the fingerprint sensor is not working properly and the device is malfunctioning.
I raised a return request within the return policy period, however Flipkart rejected the request citing “high return rate”. This reason is unrelated to the issue because the product delivered to me is defective.
When I contacted Flipkart customer support, the customer executive also warned that my account may get blocked due to a high number of returns. I believe this is unfair because the current return request is due to a defective product and not misuse of the return policy.
I have already contacted Flipkart support and also emailed the grievance officer, but the issue has not been resolved.
Delivering a defective product and rejecting the return request with an unrelated reason while warning about account blocking is unfair and against consumer rights.
Therefore, I request Flipkart to approve the return and provide a full refund for the defective product.
