via com - Flight tickets not cancelled inspite of request

I booked * tickets of FMNLA*NBQKK** and FMNLA*BQO*MS Guwahati to Delhi. I soon realized that dates did not suit so I called up immediately to cancel instead of canceling I was made to run pillar to post in the end I was told it has been done and to expect money back in * to ** days later it transpired they never canceled but put it in queue. And now they want to cut **** for canceling charges saying it's beyond ** hrs .
