John Thomas Kuruvilla filed complaint against Make My Trip on Apr 1, 2023
I had purchased tickets from MakeMyTrip from Kochi to Edmonton for approx **,***/-, Unfortunately I was not able to travel and they suggested I keep the tickets as an open ticket which is valid for * year. Having gone ahead with this, Now when I want to travel, and flights were cheaper than my original fare of **K, I have been trying to reach Make My Trip to finalise my travel, they ignored my requests for almost * months and now price has skyrocketed, they asked me to pay an additional **,***/- for fare difference, after even having done this, they said there is nothing the airliner can do and that the airliner Air Canada refuses a reschedule or a refund of the ticket fare.
In spite of being a Double Black Privileage member of Make My Trip, they have been totally unprofessional and are refusing to refund my intial ticket and say to either pay the fare difference at present rates which is close to *.* Lakh or lose the total ticket and money.
Many thanks for your proactive approach and prompt action. This has accelerated and helped in resolving my issue.
