Spicejet - Flight delayed for 5 hours

The flight was to start from Patna airport on **th September at **:** am. We started from a nearby town called Muzaffarpur at * am in morning to catch the flight. Initially they didn't inform us anything. When we reached the airport they told that the flight will be delayed and the new time is ** am. Then they changed to **:**am. Then * pm and then *:**pm. Finally they onboarded us at *:** pm but still we were seated for another * hour inside the plane - not sure why. So, my cab booking worth **** at Bangalore Airport got wasted. My dad and mom arrived that day at Bangalore but as my Flight was delayed and keys were with me, they had to take a hotel to stay thereby paying up **** for some *-* hours until I returned to my home after Spicejet landed Bangalore at *pm. That was a heavy loss and upon repeated emails also, they are not ready to compensate.
