Indigo - Flight cancelled but full refund and compensation not issued

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding Indigo’s poor service.
We travelled with Indigo from Jammu with the planned destination of Varanasi for our New Years celebration. We were told in Jammu that our Delhi to Varanasi flight had been cancelled and the lady at Indigo rebooked our Delhi to Varanasi flight number *E**** PNR QD**WH for the day after. We stayed that night in Delhi in a hotel that was not paid for by Indigo. My child was sick throughout all of this as he had a viral fever. We also had no luggage with us during the night we waited. The next day we left to board our rescheduled Delhi - Varanasi flight for it to be cancelled again. We received no information prior to this and faced only disapointment from Indigo as they dealt with the matter poorly. They left us stranded in Delhi essentially continuously offering flights to Lucknow only, where we had no reason to go. We then decided to travel to Amritsar by bus, which we spent our New Years inside… This treatment from Indigo is unacceptable. They completely ruined our New Years plans and provided no compensation whatsoever and gave us poor assistance throughout this all. We paid a ₹*,*** deposit for our Varanasi hotel, which went to waste and we need to be compensated for this.

I am requesting reimbursement of ₹**** and compensation for the hotel we stayed at in Delhi and food expenses while we were there.
