Lipika Khanna filed complaint against Make My Trip on May 12, 2020
This is in reference to my MakeMyTrip flight booking, which was made for **th April **** from New Delhi to Berlin (PNR-YBKGUJ; Booking ID-NN************* ) on **th Feburary **** (before India went under complete lockdown). As everyone is aware of the fact that all international flights were cancelled during the time my booking was scheduled and have not resumed since then, I was unable to fly out of India as per my flight schedule. I have also been using your MMT Mobile App since I made that booking, and had been regularly checking the status of my flight, which did not appear to change at first, even though it was clear that no international flights were flying out at the time.
Later, the app showed me the option of converting my booking to an 'open ticket' status by which I could simply book another flight until the end of the year ****, and thus cancelling my current booking. Having thought of this as a 'good option', I requested for a claim.
On April *th ****, I received an email that said my request was under process and that I should receive a call in the next **-**days in order to make a new booking. It has been over a month now and I have not yet received any such call or email from your end. Moreover, on the mobile app that earlier showed my booking status to be 'open', is now showing 'cancelled'. Ever since then, I have made multiple attempts to get in touch with MakeMyTrip and there has been no response. I, thus, request you to kindly reach out to me on my registered email id to resolve this matter at the earliest possible, since it is quite an urgency at this point.
