Amazon .in - False attempted delivery update

I had ordered a FEDUS *.*Ghz Wireless Mouse for Laptops,Portable Slim Optical Mouse, *-Level Adjustable DPI Compatible for Computer, MacBook, Notebook, PC, Wireless Mouse for pc, Wireless Mouse for Desktop , on Amazon.in. on **.**.****. The product was out for delivery on **.**.**** at **.** am. Entire day passed yet no delivery agent contacted me. To my shock, when i opened the delivery status page at around **.**pm, the notification showed: " delivery attempted" at *:** pm , and that i had requested for " change in delivery date" . I had neither been contacted by amazon delivery agent nor had i changed my delivery date. When enquired, amazon was unable to provide me the call log showing date stamp as when the agent had contacted me ( attempted delivery) , amazon was unable to provide me the data i asked for. My entire day was ruined waiting for the delivery . I lost my precious time.
