Punjab National Bank - Extra interest against education loan

Hi, I have taken education loan of amount Rs *,**,*** for my post-graduation studies. My PNB loan account no is ******JB********, from PNB branch Purulia (West Bengal). This was made a joint loan account from me and my mother.The sanctioned amount was Rs. *,**,*** of which I have only used Rs. *,**,*** for my semester fees. The Bank has also taken my mother's shop deed papers worth Rs. ** Lakh. On *th March, **** my loan was sanctioned and the repayment with compound interest started from within * month of loan sanction which I was unaware of. Not knowing of this My account got NPA two time. I have addressed this to the bank manager on which he replied that there is some minor error happened from the system. Later after repeated mails I was told to pay the some amount every month during my study. Also, the bank has charged interest by compoundly after * month of account open . My course period for MSc. Computer Science was * years i.e. ****-****, and bank has started my EMI within course period by on compound interest basis. Result is my Loan account is got NPA twice, CIBIL was badly compromised. I didn't get my moratorium benefit also. I have written compliant to branch several time but there was no response instead was insult whenever we went to the bank, we were said the bank didn't wanted to give loan at the first place because my mother is not government employee. Regardless of repeated humiliation and harassments in the branch, me and my mother both of our CIBIL got affected. On *th April, **** I cleared my loan amount. When I cleared the loan amount the bank manager added a lumpsum interest of **,*** which I had to pay otherwise he was not returning my collateral document. I asked the bank manager to provide the calculation for this amount, and then I received a sheet for the calculation where I can see several penalties and overdue amount got charged during my course period and that totals to this lumpsum amount. I really don't know why am I supposed to give this much interest. I am feeling very helpless.
