Geeklurn Edutech Services Pvt Ltd - Education Fraud by Geeklurn Edutech and Propelld Finance

Respected Sir/Madam,

I Prashant Chandrakant shinde, resident of Mumbai aged **. I am reaching out to you today to share a distressing incident and seek your support. I have been a victim of fraudulent activities perpetrated by Mr. Kamalapuram Srinivas Kalyan and Mr. Aman Mishra, the Founders and Head of Operations of Geeklurn Edutech Pvt Ltd on the name of IBM and NASSCOM. I am determined to hold them accountable for their actions. There are other core members in their team who had cheated me, Mithun Muralidhar, Praveen, Supreetha, Rupesh and Ariyaman. In April ****, I joined Geeklurn based on their promise of zero-cost education in Data Science. However, they misled me into taking a loan of INR ***,*** from Propelld Team (NBFC - Aditya Birla Finance Limited) as they purposefully did not prepare the tripartite agreement. Geeklurn team committed that they will be paying our monthly EMI of INR**** to us for next ** months. Now they broke their commitment and agreement by saying they'll not be paying any EMI further.

Geeklurn is not following through with this commitment. They provided EMI till February ****, but now they are saying that they will not pay the monthly EMI. As per the agreement, they have to make payments till ** months but they took loan on our name and closed their classes and contact numbers. They had cheated us badly and we are now trapped.

Meanwhile, since last * months or so they are defaulting on their basic services i.e. not providing resolution to our queries for our study part. They are not picking up our calls nor responding to our emails for any of our queries nor giving us the money as per their commitments. I have been mentally disturbed and harassed by these people. I am the only earning member of in my house and I am feeling serious pressure for maintaining my livelihood. I have asked them several times to cancel the course, but no one is responding. They have not provided what they promised, and they have cheated us.

Furthermore, I have learned that this scam is not isolated and that Geeklurn Edutech Pvt Ltd has cheated more than **** students and has a scam of approximately ** crores rupees. Their old office address was #***, DBS Business Center DBS House, **, Cunningham Road Bengaluru Karnataka-******, and their new office address is IndiQube, South Summit, *st Floor, S End RD, Vijayarangam Layout, Jayanagar, Bengaluru Karnataka-******.

I also want to highlight the fact that I have brought up these concerns with both Geeklurn Edutech Pvt Ltd and Aditya Birla finance limited – NBFC Propelld Team regarding the loan disbursement and EMI collection process. I asked them if it is an educational loan why they have not included Geeklurn as party. Also, if this was educational loan, even before the completion of the course, they started collecting EMIs from us on the very first month of joining. Moreover, the loan was disbursed to a third-party account, which is not permitted under RBI guidelines without including them as a party for personal loans. When I asked them to clarify this, they were unable to provide me with any satisfactory explanation.

This is not an isolated incident. Geeklurn Edutech Pvt Ltd is believed to have cheated approximately more than **** students. We need to bring attention to this issue and seek justice.

I appeal to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for assistance in cancelling the loan
account LXW-M*****-********* obtained from NBFC - Aditya Birla Finance Limited. I also seek compensation for the mental harassment, distress by Mr. Kamalapuram Srinivas Kalyan, Mr. Aman Mishra, Mithun Murlidhar, Praveen, Supreetha, Rupesh and Ariyaman, Geeklurn Edutech Pvt Ltd, Aditya Birla Finance Limited, and Propelld NBFC - Aditya Birla Finance Limited. I kindly urge you to expedite the cancellation of the loan and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to hold Geeklurn Edutech Pvt Ltd, its founders.

This further supports my belief that there has been a serious scam committed by Geeklurn Edutech Pvt Ltd and its Founders, Mr. Kamalapuram Srinivas Kalyan and their teammates Mr. Aman Mishra, Praveen, Satyaprakash as ex-Student Managers), Mithun Muralitharan, Tushar Tarun Satapathy, Mithun M, Vasuki Patil, Shashank S as current Student Manager respectively and they should be held accountable for their actions. I urge you to take strict action against them and ensure that justice is served. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
