SONY 55 INCH TV - Dmaged TV in just 40 days

I am writing to formally request a replacement for the Sony HD TV **” that I purchased on June **, ****. On July **, ****, merely ** days after purchase, the TV ceased functioning due to a power input failure.
Upon reporting the issue, a Sony technician inspected the unit and determined that the power board was damaged. He informed me that he would arrange for a repair. Subsequently, I lodged a complaint on the Sony website, requesting a replacement instead of a repair, as I believe it is unacceptable for a brand new TV, valued at approximately ₹*,**,***, to require repairs so soon after purchase.
However, I received a response from Sony stating that they will only repair the TV, in accordance with their warranty conditions. I am seeking assistance to secure a replacement unit rather than a repair, as the current resolution is not satisfactory considering the circumstances.
