Bsnl-bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - Deposit amount not refunded on surrendering landline

ALPHONSE THAVAMANY FERNANDO filed complaint against Bsnl-bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited on Feb 24, 2019

I surrendered my landline on **.**.****. Bill amount Rs. *** received for period **.**.**** to **. **.****. On being told by BSNL that this amount could be recovered from my deposit amount which is to be refunded by them. I didn't pay the bill. But I received a bill in January **** for Rs. *** (***.** as arrears and Rs. **.** as late fee amount). I paid this bill too amounting to Rs. *** on **.**.****. I sent a letter dt. **.**.**** to Nodal Officer, DGM-NWO-STM/SW to the Guindy office. On getting no reply I sent a letter dt. **.**.**** to Appellate Authority, Sr. G. M. (NWO) South, to his Guindy office. So far the deposit amount is not refunded.
