Jeep Compass FCA Group - Delivered Sub par quality part and purposefully excluded from extended warranty

Jeep compass provided sub par quality part, Catalytic Convertor which went bad in < *yrs and <***** KMs of usage. They have purposefully excluded this part alone from extended warranty. Even after repeated requests to Jeep customer care over email and phone to better understand the root cause of failure of the part, it was unanswered.
It sounds quite fishy as this is the only part which is removed from extended warranty and it costs greater than **% of the vehicle cost.
It looks very evident that they are aware to have sold vehicles with bad quality products and purposefully excluded from warranty to make money.
