Simanti Talukdar filed complaint against Make My Trip on May 26, 2019
I booked a multi-city return flight for Mumbai-Geneva, Ljbljana-Mumbai for June **, ****, on Make My Trip (MMT) for INR *****. Based on the alternatives on the site, I booked a Turkish AIrline flight from Mumbai to Geneva via Istanbul for the onward journey, which was scheduled to reach Geneva at **:** hours on the **nd of June. However, the airline rescheduled the flight and the revised ETA was **** hours, which was over * hours delay. I requested MMT to either accommodate me in a different flight or compensate me for the delay (as per DGCA regulations, passengers are entitled to compensation for delays exceeding * hours). However, MMT refused to do so and took a week to process my cancellation request. As a result, I had to rebook my entire booking for a revised cost of INR *****. This is an absolute violation of regulations, not to mention the harassment and financial cost to me for no fault of me.
