My flight on the **th of November was cancelled by the Airlines (booking id NF**************). Airline contacted me to confirm that my money will be fully refunded and advised me to contact MakeMyTrip to track my refund. On **th November I contacted MakeMyTrip, they confirmed that a manual refund has been initiated and the full money including the convenience fee will be refunded.
After * days on Nov ** I got a refund of Rs*** the convenience fee alone. Same day I made a call to customer care to check this, they informed me that in ** hours rest of the money will be refunded. After ** hours on Nov** I again contacted MakeMyTrip who gave me the same answer again ‘please wait for another ** hours’.
Patiently I waited for another * days. On the night of Nov ** I again made a call to MakeMyTrip. This time I got a new answer wait for another * days since the bank transactions take time.
Two things are my main concerns here. If they can refund the convenience fee on time why this much time for the main amount. Also if the refund is getting delayed why didn’t they inform me on the first place, why they kept saying ** hours all the time and at the end saying another * days. Is MakeMyTrip making fun of its customers.
