After seeing a commercial I had decided to visit the clinic nearby. I got called for a free scan. At first I wasn't willing to purchase. But they talked me into buying the plan for *****. Withing ** days I received aligners and was fit. There was no pre procedure checknup done. Only a scan was taken. Following fixing of aligners I developed severe jaw pain and inability to move jaw. Headache, ear ache, neck pain and body pain. I tried to take the aligners out but since I was not told clearly on how to remove it I had to suffer the pain and all this time I could not eat ot drink. I watched videos online and somehow removed it. It took me **hrs. Within ** hrs of placing aligners I called customer service saying I'm having lots of pain. She dismissed my calls saying to wait for **-**hrs for a docotr to call me. I said I cannot wait another * days with this pain.she said she can't help it. I decided to go to the center who put my aligners. She reprimanded me for not using hook to remove aligners when she never even told me how to use a hook. She even joked about how at least my teeth are not shaking. After I kept on telling her I have so much pain she got an xray and told me about my jaw bone not reaching to the end and receding gums due to which I have pain. She adviced not to wear aligners and gave me a prescription for pain without her name or sign or registration number. That same night I emailed customer service saying aligners are not working for me I need to opt out and requested a refund. The doctor called me next day telling me to not even think about refund and that I wouldn't get any. I kept on texting customer service and emailing them . They keep on telling me they will call back but never do. I was told every thing will be covered in ***** that I spent however they made me purchase other items extra that too at a higher price than in their online website. I was promised ** sets of aligners, * retainers, teeth cleaning and teeth whitening and * year post treatment followup. However the first set of aligners itself is causing me trouble and I don't want to continue further. I requested many times but they are not responding . I had to remove my attachments with the help of family dentist who told me I have impacted teeth and that should have been removed fist and then only aligner treatment started. According to their treatment plan ** attachments needed to be placed however there were only ** attachments placed. I have sent customer service an elaborate email on the medical negligence from their side. Following this the clinic I went to called me and said the aligners are already in production and I won't get a refund. I said how can aligners be produced without checking the progress of my teeth moment to which she had no reply. She also told me I can get free coupon for skin treatment. I said I don't have any skin problem and don't want that treatment . She said she can't help it
I texted customer service who told me aligner production only starts after *th aligner progress is assessed
Not only did they not provide me with proper treatment, they are ignoring all my pleas for refund and the local center is straight up lying to me. When the purchased the plan the doctor who sold the plan to me had immediately got a commission also. Please help me get my refund of ***** as I have ready so many complaints online about this company scamming people and never giving back the money.
The doctor is even justifying on why she didn't send me for an opg. I told her in the company policy it is clearly written to send patient for opg first. She told me she didn't want to expose e to radiation. Isn't opg a medical procedure in acceptable radiation dose? And it's mandatory to get an opg done before any teeth alignment treatment. When I told her all this she just said come back to ou clinic and we will help. After everything that I has happened to me will I ever want to go back to them again?
