Company Details: Ticket was booked directly/online from Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd website.

Nature of Complaint: Ticket cancelled but no refund from airlines
Grievance Details: I had booked an air ticket from Lucknow to Pune to and fro from the Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd website. Onward journey was on *th Feb **** and return on **th Feb ****. Balmer Lawrie reference number of booking is FB****CYVTTJ. However Jet Airways cancelled the onward flight and because of not providing the suitable onward journey flight, the return ticket( from Indigo) also had to be cancelled. Jet was giving me an option in which the flight was reaching to Pune not before the evening of **th Feb **** whereas the return ticket of Indigo was in the morning at *:** a.m on **th Feb. Hence both the tickets had to be cancelled. The breakup details of the ticket thus cancelled is Rs. **** for onward journey (Jet Airways), Rs. **** for the return journey (Indigo) and Rs.*** was charged by Balmer Lawrie as a convenience fee. Since I had to reach Pune for an important work I was forced to book the tickets again which cost me as high as Rs. **,***. Balmer Lawrie booking reference number is FB****VPHRLG. In this whole process, I not only lost valuable money but also faced mental and physical hardships and trauma. Moreover, despite the several requests, the full refund of the cancelled ticket was not paid to me even after the lapse of more than ** days. After several calls partial refund of only Rs. **** was paid to me on **th March **** as against the original cost of ticket i.e. Rs *****. When I again contacted Balmer Lawrie they did not even tell me that for which sector this refund was given. After several enquiries, I logged on to Indigo website and found that Rs.**** (after deducting Rs **** cited as cancellation fee) was refunded. However, surprisingly Balmer Lawrie again deducted Rs. *** as a convenience fee. They deducted the convenience fee at every stage for all the inconvenience and trauma they heaped upon me. They did great injustice with me and failed in providing the services. I request you to order Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd to pay me at least Rs. *,**,*** (Rs.***** refund of original booking, Rs. ***** refund of subsequent booking, Rs **,*** as interest on delayed refund/partial refund and Rs. *,**,*** as damages for all the inconvenience and hardships caused to me). Balmer Lawrie itself should pay this amount or they should get it from the airlines and then pay back to me. Only this much refund and damages would be true justice for me. I will be ever grateful to you for this kind act of justice.

I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
