I ordered JBL BAR** Dolby Digital DTS with Wireless Speakers and subwoofer & *k Surround Sound Bluetooth Soundbar from Flipkart on * October ****, which was delivered at my residence in Greater Noida West on * October ****. When I reached home after a few minutes of Item delivery I noticed that BOX was not properly sealed and I raised the complaint within a few minutes. However, Flipkart executive did not understand my complaint properly and marked the request as a damaged item which I later on changed to Item not as described to prevent pickup rejection, this is because item was supposed to be brand new but the one was received was tampered and hence not new and thus not as described on Flipkart website. As my item return was under processing there was no need for installation and hence I asked the Flipkart engineer to cancel his current Job and Flipkart will co-ordinate with Jeeves about further proceedings. On the *th of October, I received a mail from Flipkart stating that the seller is not ready to accept the return and they also asked my consent to file the FIR for the further legal inquiry to which I replied positively. Moreover, Flipkart executive also scheduled an engineer visit to have more clarity. Upon inspecting the item on **th October, the engineer marked the item as “Dented/Dead of Arrival” and told me that Flipkart will initiate return/replacement for the item. But, on the **th of October, I got a call from Flipkart social media team that their inspection is complete and as per them there is no problem in an item, and as they have not received any negative feedback from the Installation executive, the case is closed. I called the visiting engineering immediately and he reassured me that he can clearly see the installation failed request at his side and he also uploaded the picture of the item there. I told the same thing to the Flipkart customer executive and asked him to share a copy of the FIR filed so that I can submit at district consumer court for the record purpose. He replied that he needs ** more hours to get more clarity over the issue and he told me that he will call after one day. On the **th of October, I only got an mail from Flipkart that my return/replace is rejected and hence they will not be able to process the request. They did not provide any explanation, nor the FIR documents as the executive promised over the line. I contacted the Installation company Jeeves and requested them to share a screenshot of the report, pictures of the product taken he took for the failure of equipment installation. After receiving the proof I again submitted the documents to Flipkart along with the installation failure notes, this time they replied to me that they will now block my account and I will not be able to avail the Flipkart services anymore. This is the example of one of the worst harassment cases wherein, a company is not taking any responsibility for the products that they sell and deliver, I do not understand why the company is so reluctant for the product when their own engineers are agreeing to the fact that product is at fault. I am associated with Flipkart since **** and I never expected that they will treat me so badly, if they would have gone through my shopping history they would have realized that I am a genuine buyer. This is a clear case of fraud wherein a company sends in a defective item and then denies replacement without any reason and when a proper explanation is asked they will simply block you for no reason.
