Nykaa beauty - Defective Alan Truman blow dryer from Nykaa pickup not attempted false status updated of the pickup

I purchased an electrical styling tool, Alan Truman Compact Blow Dryer Brush, from Nykaa.

On the first use, the product started emitting a burning plastic smell and the airflow stopped completely. Currently, when switched on, only motor noise is audible and no air is blown and emitting a heavily burning smell, making the product unsafe and non-functional.

Nykaa approved a replacement and pickup on ** January. However, the logistics partner Shadowfax did not attempt the pickup and later marked the status as “customer not reachable”, which is incorrect. I did not receive any call, was available at the pickup address, and the pickup partner’s contact number was unreachable from my end.

Despite waiting beyond the committed timeline, the pickup has still not been completed. I have faced similar false pickup attempt issues earlier with the same logistics partner, which raises concerns about incorrect reporting and deficiency in service.

I request immediate resolution of the pickup and replacement or refund for the defective and unsafe product. The continued delay and false status updates amount to deficiency in service by the seller and their logistics partner.
