I am the owner of a Whirlpool washing machine (Model: Top Load Automatic).
On Nov **, ****, I submitted the machine to an authorized Whirlpool Service Centre for repair of the wire harness only.
While carrying out the repair or during testing, the Service Centre damaged the machine’s PCB, which was in proper working condition before submission. This additional damage occurred while the product was under the Service Centre’s custody and is clearly due to negligence.
Despite contacting Whirlpool customer care and escalating the matter, the issue has not been resolved, and I am being subjected to delay and inconvenience.
This amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice.
RELIEF SOUGHT:
*. Free-of-cost repair or replacement of the damaged PCB
*. Proper repair of the wire harness
*. Compensation for mental harassment and inconvenience
*. Any other relief deemed fit by the Hon’ble Commission
