Sub:Complaint against Snapdeal reg:
Sir/Madam,
With due respect, would like to place a complaint against one online services provider 'Snapdeal' for their fraudulent and deceitful act as stated herein: * that I had placed an order for a book 'House at the Corner' by Enid Blyton on prepaid basis on **st April ****. The book was urgently required by my daughter for school purposes.
* that I received the parcel on *nd May **** but to my surprise the product was quite different when I opened it. It was a book called 'HENNA Design Tutorial' . I immediately rang to customer care of Snapdeal and expressed my resentment for not dispatching the correct book as how important the book was for my daughter. The staff who responded me asked sorry for the inconveniences and assured me to replace the book.
* Later on, as per replacement order I received the parcel on **th May **** but to my utter surprise again the book was quite different than what I had ordered. The different book they sent was 'स्वामी' by रणजित देसाई instead of the book 'House at the Corner'. Though the product name i.e. name of the book mentioned in the invoice pasted with the parcel is not different. But the book inside the parcel was quite different as I stated above.
This made me quite disappointed. I lost peace of mind for the day. All my important official works for the day were hampered due to the feelings that this time I am really deceived, cheated and harrassed by Snapdeal. I wouldn't be so desperate if the book was for myself but my daughter is impatiently waiting for the book at her school hostel at Kalimpong.
However, today the **th May **** I again returned the book to the messenger of Snapdeal delivery as that book is for no use.
I, therefore, request your honour to kindly look into the matter and stop such company to cheat and harass the innocent and law abiding people of Sikkim.
Photo copies of the invoice and the wrong books are enclosed pl.
