Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to file a complaint against an online seller, Foomer, who I believe is engaging in fraudulent practices on social media and through their website.
On October **th, I placed a prepaid order for a shirt after viewing their advertisement on Instagram and their website. I received an order confirmation both via email and WhatsApp, with a tracking page for my order. Initially, the tracking status showed delays, and then it displayed that the order was cancelled by the seller. I continued reaching out to them through calls and messages to inquire about my order but received no response.
On October **th, I texted them, requesting a full refund due to the order cancellation and delay. I mentioned my concerns about fraudulent practices and clearly stated that I no longer wished to proceed with the order. On October **st, I received a notification from Blue Dart that my order had been dispatched, contrary to my refund request. When I tried to contact the seller again, they responded that they were closed for Diwali vacation and would only resume operations after November *th.
After Diwali, I reached out once more but received no further responses. Upon emailing them today, they informed me that the *-day return period had expired, even though I only received the package on November *th, after several requests to cancel the order. The item I received was of poor quality, different from the images on their site, and did not match the size I ordered.
I believe that Foomer is deliberately ignoring refund requests and using deceptive practices to avoid returns, resulting in losses for customers like myself. I kindly request your assistance in securing a refund for my order and taking appropriate action to prevent such practices from affecting more customers.
