Motorola - Charging for fixing mobile under warranty

Hi,
I have purchased moto M **gb (inr *****) from flipkart in dec, ****. Two days back the phone stopped working. it is not switching on. On connecting with charger it gets exceptionally heated up. The phone is in warranty, so i went to motorola care. They said there is a little crack on screen, so please first fix the screen ( for Approx **** inr). Only after fixing screen ( which is a minute dent on the edge of the screen totally unrelated to the issue), they will see the switching on issue which may not be covered in warranty too. When i told them to give this statement in written, they asked for *** inr to make a job sheet first. I lost all my trust from motorola and want to see motorola in court.
